Practice Areas: Business Immigration, Removal Defense, Family Immigration, Humanitarian & Special Relief
Ben is an Associate Attorney at Global Immigration Legal Team, bringing his extensive legal experience in immigration to his current position. Ben helps clients navigate the demanding U.S. immigration system by tailoring each client’s circumstances into compelling arguments for favorable outcomes with the government and in court.
Prior to law school, Ben began his journey in immigration law at a large immigration firm, gaining specialized experience in immigration, including extensive handling of L-1 petitions, as well as employment and humanitarian-based adjustment of status applications. After his first year of law school, Ben worked at a boutique firm in Boston, in which he deepened his immigration knowledge by hands-on experience with removal defense, unlawful presence waivers, and complex employment-based petitions.
Ben has thrived in environments focused on building the legal skillset. As a staff member and editor of the Suffolk University Law Review, Ben sharpened his own legal writing, reasoning, and style, and polished scholarly and student works published by the Law Review. As a judicial intern with the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, Ben learned firsthand the innerworkings of judicial chambers, including the surgical approach judges and their clerks apply to each case that reaches the docket. As a legal intern at the Office of the Regional Solicitor within U.S. Department of Labor, Ben gained experience working on federal litigation, working with government attorneys on the enforcement of federal labor and employment statutes.
From 2024 to 2025, Ben worked as a Certified Student Attorney at the Suffolk University Law School Housing Clinic. There, he advised tenants on eviction matters ahead of Housing Court hearings and mediation, negotiated with opposing counsel, argued an appellate matter before the state commission on discrimination, and propelled a fair housing claim through rigorous discovery during civil litigation in state court. Ben’s clinical experience helped develop his legal skillset; however, Ben took the most pride in gaining trust with his clients and providing them with compassionate and competent legal counsel.
In each opportunity to engage with clients, learn their stories, and formulate legal arguments on their behalf, Ben seeks to emulate and exceed our firm’s values of curiosity, competence, and care. Ben’s experience at the firm reflects his appreciation for all sides of U.S. immigration, including complex employment, family-based, and humanitarian matters, in addition to challenging removal defense and federal litigation. Ben strives for continuous learning from his colleagues’ wealth of expertise in immigration law, in addition to learning from his clients’ individual experiences from inside and outside the United States.
Outside of the office, Ben enjoys spending time outdoors, especially by walking and hiking public parks, and can sometimes be found working on developing his golf, tennis, and pickleball game.
Ben loves learning and practicing musical instruments, including trombone, guitar, and piano.
