Kelsey Logar is a senior immigration attorney with Global Immigration Legal Team and holds over a decade of experience representing individuals and companies in complex immigration matters. She takes a personalized, compassionate, and joyful approach to helping people build their futures in the United States.


Her areas of practice include providing strategic legal guidance to companies, from start-ups to multinational corporations, for both immigrant and non-immigrant visas in employment-based visa categories, including H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-2, E-3 and EB-1, EB-2, and PERM. Kelsey enjoys providing individualized mentorship to companies looking to expand their international workforce, first time entrepreneurs ready to build and scale their businesses, and artists or creatives looking to grow their career in the United States. She has also provided guidance on workforce compliance surrounding employment eligibility, I-9 audits, and Know Your Rights trainings to employers and management teams with employees of diverse 

immigration status seeking help navigating the complex regulatory landscape.


Kelsey also represents individuals and families in their immigration journeys with a practical and solutions-based approach. She has experience with family-based immigration, K-1, I-751 as well as a trauma-informed approach to humanitarian cases, including asylum, VAWA, TPS, and U-Visas. Her practice includes both adjustment of status and consular processing with waivers including I-601, I-601A, and I-212 as well as naturalization. She also represents individuals in removal proceedings and relief from removal, including asylum and cancellation of removal. Her litigation experience includes successful representation before the Immigration Court, USCIS, Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), and Administrative Appeals Office (AAO), federal court actions before the District Court of New Jersey and Third Circuit Court of Appeals, in addition to bond requests and representation for individuals in immigration detention across the United States.


Kelsey graduated from Drexel University with both a Bachelor of Science degree and a Juris Doctor degree in a six-year accelerated BS/JD program. Prior to joining GILT, Kelsey gained legal experience with the immigration law firm Surin & Griffin and served as the Thomas R. Kline School of Law Public Service Fellow at the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society of Pennsylvania, (HIAS PA), a nonprofit that serves immigrants, refugees, and asylees.


Outside of advocating for her clients, Kelsey enjoys traveling, hunting for treasures at flea markets and estate sales, and seeing art and live music.
