Practice Areas: Removal Defense, Family Immigration, Humanitarian & Special Relief, U.S. Citizenship, Federal Practice
Taylor is an attorney at Global Immigration Legal Team, bringing her extensive immigration legal experience from her work with the Executive Office for Immigration Review in New Orleans and Philadelphia to her current position. Prior to moving into private practice, Taylor worked at the immigration courts in New Orleans (2017-2019) and Philadelphia (2019-2022), drafting complex decisions for the immigration judges in a variety of areas of removal defense. Since 2022, Taylor has assisted clients in all facets of removal defense and family-based immigration, achieving asylum grants at both the USCIS asylum office and before immigration courts around the country, cancellations of removal grants before the immigration court, approval of family-based green card applications, and the successful termination and dismissal of removal proceedings for Lawful Permanent Residents (LPRs) convicted of certain crimes.
Taylor focuses on advising individual clients on asylum applications both before USCIS and the immigration courts, other aspects of removal
defense, family-based immigration pathways, and the consequences of criminal arrests and convictions on immigration status or eligibility. She helps clients develop strategies and secure approvals in a wide variety of immigration matters, including asylum, cancellation of removal and other removal defense applications for both detained and non-detained clients, adjustment of status before USCIS and the immigration court, waivers of unlawful presence, certain criminal convictions, or instances of fraud or misrepresentation. Taylor also specializes in crimmigration, advising clients on the effect of certain criminal convictions on their immigration status, and routinely works with criminal attorneys to craft an outcome that can mitigate immigration consequences. This includes motions to terminate or dismiss removal proceedings that are based on certain criminal convictions.
Taylor works primarily with clients in removal proceedings in courts around the country, and in family-based cases before USCIS, including for adjustment of status and naturalization in various offices nationwide.
Taylor has experience in obtaining successful outcomes for complex cases involving LPRs and other noncitizens with criminal convictions in all stages of the immigration processes, including removal defense, adjustment of status, and naturalization.
Outside of the office, Taylor enjoys spending time with her dog, exploring new restaurants in the city with her friends, and is constantly on the hunt for good coffee.
