Brendan Ryan

Family Immigration and Federal Litigation Practice Chair

Brendan is the Family Immigration and Federal Litigation Practice Chair at Global Immigration Legal Team. Since 2018, Brendan has been providing legal services to a variety of immigrants, helping them navigate the complexities of the immigration process in the United States.

Brendan’s interest in immigration law started in 2016 when he interned at the Clinic for Asylum, Refugee, and Emigrant Studies at Villanova Charles Widger School of Law. During his time at the clinic Brendan developed and understanding of asylum laws in the United States and represented clients in front of immigration judges with the Executive Office for Immigration Review.

Brendan primarily focuses on family related immigration matters, removal defense, and federal litigation in the immigration context. Brendan starts by meeting with every client to understand the facts and meaning behind each case and then develops a case strategy to best help secure an outcome favorable to his clients, with their goals in mind.

Brendan has represented numerous clients in a variety of immigration matters including asylum, adjustment of status, cancellation of removal, habeas corpus petitions, mandamus petitions, circuit court appeals. Brendan can frequently be found in an immigration court or at a USCIS office zealously advocating on behalf of his clients.

Outside of the office, Brendan enjoys spending time in the outdoors, working on his golf game, and connecting with his friends and family.
