USCIS Policy Changes Affect U.S. Citizenship Filing

A Fee Increase Is Still Coming

We previously alerted you to a proposed 70%+ increase to the naturalization application (Form N-400) filing fee. That increase is not yet final, but we still expect USCIS to implement it later this year.

  • Online filing fee increase: $710 → $1,280
  • Paper filing fee increase: $760 → $1,330

We can help you file now to secure today’s lower rate and get your U.S. naturalization application started.

Increase in Application Denials Expected

USCIS issued an August 5 policy alert that affects US naturalization applications and other immigration benefit requests. USCIS officers can now deny incomplete applications outright, without asking for missing documents first. A paperwork gap used to mean a follow-up request. Now it can mean a denial, with no second chance.

Filing soon protects your fee. Filing correctly protects your case. Our team helps you do both, right the first time.
